Citi Bike Riding Duo Go On Violent Spree In This NYC Borough, Police Say

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Police were looking on Wednesday for two women on Citi Bike bicycles who randomly attacked three people on the Upper East Side, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, just before 6 p.m. on April 17, two women on bicycles approached a 75-year-old man, a 72-year-old woman, and a 46-year-old woman near East 79th Street and Fifth Avenue.

The perpetrators punched the man in the left eye, and the two women were shoved to the ground, before biking away, police said.

When medics arrived, the victims were transported to Lenox Hill Hospital in stable condition with pain and swelling, police said.

The perpetrators were last seen heading west on East 79th Street, police said.

Police are still investigating the incident and have not made any arrests yet, but they have released surveillance photos of the suspects.

Police said the first suspect is a woman last seen wearing a black jacket and dark colored pants, and the second woman was last seen wearing a black jacket and black pants.
