37th Annual 'Miracle On Madison Avenue' Returns To UES, For Good Cause

This popular seasonal shopping event benefits the pediatric program at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Here are the details:

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — The holiday season is a time of giving, and a popular shopping event returns to the Upper East Side on the first weekend of December, offering both unique gifts and a way to support children with cancer.

This year's Miracle on Madison Avenue is Saturday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Madison Avenue from East 57th to East 86th streets. More than 60 businesses will "roll out the red carpet with treats and programming," according to the Madison Avenue B.I.D., which is organizing the event.

As has been the case for the past 11 years, participating stores, restaurants, and galleries will donate 20 percent of all sales to the Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center's pediatric programming, up to $15,000 per store.

Customers will get to enjoy strolling carolers and special shopping experiences, and can even bring their dog to meet the MSK Caring Canines Therapy Dog Team and get a holiday keepsake illustration.
