7 Burglars Loot $500K In Luxury Goods From UES Shop, Police Say
Loot from the luxury consignment shop included Chanel and Hermès handbags, Cartier watches and Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry, police said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A half dozen burglars stole half a million dollars' worth of luxury goods from an upscale Upper East Side consignment shop, according to police.
Seven men walked into The RealReal — a consignment store for luxury clothing and jewelry on Madison Avenue and East 71st Street — about 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 20, police said.
Once inside, they stole jewelry, watches and handbags valued at about $498,000 combined, police said.

The looted items included Chanel and Hermès handbags, Cartier watches, Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry and "miscellaneous rings and watches," an NYPD spokesperson told patch.
The men left in two vehicles, with one fleeing north on Madison Avenue and another heading south along Fifth Avenue, police said.

Police shared surveillance images showing two of the suspects, as well as an image of a white sedan used by at least two of the alleged burglars.
