91-Year-Old Pedestrian Hurt In Hit-And-Run Crash On Upper East Side: Police
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital, and the vehicle fled the scene, police said.
NEW YORK — A 91-year-old pedestrian was injured Monday in a hit-and-run crash on the Upper East Side, according to police.
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. in the area of East 72nd Street and First Avenue, where a vehicle making a right turn struck the eastbound pedestrian, causing the woman to fall and injure her shoulder and back, police said.
The woman was taken to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, according to police, who said the vehicle fled the scene.
