Bicyclist Struck By Vehicle On Upper East Side, Police Say
The cyclist was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in serious condition.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A bicyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle Thursday afternoon on the Upper East Side, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
The collision occurred shortly after 12 p.m. in the intersection of East 63rd Street and York Avenue, an NYPD spokeswoman said. Police are still investigating the events leading up to the collision.
The cyclist was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian in serious condition, an NYPD spokeswoman said. An NYPD spokeswoman could not confirm the extent of the cyclist's injuries. The driver stayed on the scene of the collision and was uninjured, police said.

The NYPD Collision Investigation Squad shut down York Avenue between East 62nd and 63rd streets while conducting its investigation, police said.
