Bloomingdale's Employee Hurt After Prop Wall Collapse, NYPD Says
A decorative wall fell on an employee Thursday at the Upper East Side Bloomingdale's flagship. The worker suffered minor injuries.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — An employee at the Upper East Side Bloomingdale's flagship store on East 60th Street was sent to the hospital Thursday morning after being struck by a falling prop wall, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
Police and fire responders rushed to the East 60th Street and Third Avenue store around 10:10 a.m. after reports of a wall collapse, officials said. When officers arrived at the scene they found a 20-year-old employee suffering minor injuries, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
The person was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition, an FDNY spokesman said.

The scene was placed under control around 10:40 a.m., police and fire officials said.
