British Private Club King Opening New Upper East Side Spot: Report
The new private club and restaurant is set to open at 828 Madison Ave., the New York Post reported on Monday.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A famed British private club owner whose London venue served as the first date spot for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is opening a new outpost on the Upper East Side, the New York Post reported on Monday.
Robin Birley is planning to open his first New York City club next year at 828 Madison Ave. (near East 69th Street), the New York Post reported.
Birley, who was famously mauled by a tiger as a child, signed a 20-year lease for the two-story 12,000 square-foot space UES storefront, according to the Post.

The New York Post added that the club still needs to file permits with the community board and city to determine how late it will stay open.
