Cardi B's Security Beat Up Fan At Upper East Side Hotel: NYPD
The man was assaulted by Cardi B's security guards after he approached the rapper asking for an autograph.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A pushy fan of rapper Cardi B was assaulted by her security guards early Tuesday morning outside an Upper East Side hotel, an NYPD spokesman said.
The 33-year-old man was thrown to the ground by security guards after he asked Cardi B for an autograph at 2 a.m. outside the Mark Hotel on East 77th Street and Madison Avenue, police said. Security pounced on the fan when he continued to approach Cardi B after being denied an autograph, police said.
Security guards punched and kicked the man while he was on the ground, an NYPD spokesman said. The guards are currently being investigated for assault, an NYPD spokesman said.

The fan was taken to an area hospital after suffering injuries to his head and back, police said.
Cardi B was returning to the Mark Hotel after attending the Met Gala with her fiance, Offset, a member of the Atlanta-based rap trio Migos. The security guards being investigated for the assault were also protecting the group, police said.
