Cozy's Cuts For Kids To Cloze Down UES Barber Shop: Report
After 30 years, Cozy is calling it quits.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A top spot for kids to have fun and get a hair cut is closing its doors after 30 years, according to reports.
Cozy's Cuts for Kids, on Second Avenue near 74th Street, is calling it quits on May 7th, reports East Side Feed.
The shop featured fanciful barber chairs and plenty of distractions for kids while their hairs fell to the floor, like bubbles, TV and video games, according to the website.

Owner Cozy Friedman, who had been featured on TV shows like the Today Show and the Tyra Banks Show, told East Side Feed she started the shop when she realized there needed to be a barbershop that is more than merely tolerant of children, but “welcome them with open arms," and caters to them.
Friedman said she's not selling the shop or moving or getting pushed out by a landlord — the only reason she's closing she told East Side Feed, is because "it just feels like the time is right to move on and ride off into the sunset.”
