Dig Inn To Open New Upper East Side Location, Report Says
The new restaurant on First Avenue and East 70th Street will be the neighborhood's second Dig Inn.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Rapidly-expanding fast casual eatery Dig Inn has secured a lease for a new Upper East Side location, according to reports.
Dig Inn will soon be serving up its signature market bowls from a space on First Avenue between East 70th and 71st streets, Commercial Observer first reported. The chain picked the location in an effort to draw in employees of nearby hospitals such as New York Presbyterian and the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, real estate agents told Commercial Observer.
"We feel it’s their time," RKF's Neal Ohm, who represents Dig Inn, told CO. "They have a great concept and their brand is coming to fruition in this market. I think people’s eating habits are skewing to it."

Dig Inn currently operates one other Upper East Side location on Lexington Avenue between East 87th and 88th streets. Most of the chain's restaurants are located in Midtown or lower Manhattan, according to Dig Inn's website. The company operates one store in Brooklyn and three in Boston.
