Woman Stabbed On UES Subway, Police Say
The 57-year-old victim was stabbed in the head following an argument with the perpetrator, police say.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Police are searching for a suspect after a 57-year-old woman was stabbed in the head on an Upper East Side subway, New York City Police Department officials said Thursday.
According to the NYPD, the victim was on a downtown-bound 4 train at Lexington Avenue and East 59th Street when she got into an argument with the perpetrator on Tuesday at 1:50 p.m.
Following the argument, the perpetrator stabbed the woman in the head and then ran away from the station, police said. Medics took the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition, police said.

Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect, and have not made any arrests yet. Police said the investigation is still underway.
