For context, the chicken Caesar wrap at Milano Market, a longtime East Side deli at 1582 Third Avenue on the corner of 89th Street, has recently become a favorite of food TikTok, where you can even watch an individual with strident yellow nails narrate her experience with the aforementioned sandwich. (Note: Both videos contain expletives).
Returning to the matter at hand, Arturo’s Pizza, at 1610 York Avenue on the corner of 85th Street, receives high marks.
“Arturo's is a perfect regular ass slice,” one poster affirmed.
Another neighborhood institution, Delizia has two locations: one at 1374 First Avenue, between 73rd and 74th Street, and another at 1762 Second Avenue, at 92nd Street.
“I used to have my birthday parties there as a kid,” a poster shared, “that’s a classic New York slice right there.”
For another “top tier” pie, Marinara Pizza, at 1376 Lexington Avenue near 91st Street, is a winner, as is its spinach artichoke slice.
Although Gotham Pizza was recently busted for stealing wages from its employees, the quality of the pizza delivered by its two Upper East Side locations remains high.
“The slice still has posture even after being in a box for 15-20 [minutes],” according to a supporter. Remarkable.
Lesser known – but highly praised – are York Avenue Pizza, which is actually located at 434 East 72nd Street, and LaRustica, at 1426 Lexington Avenue near 93rd Street.
Finally, if you’re in the mood for “bougie unexpected flavors,” consider Enzo Bruni Gourmet, at 1827 Second Avenue near 96th Street.
Feeling overwhelmed? One thing’s for sure: the Upper East Side is packed with great delivery pizza options. So which one will you pick tonight?
