E-Bike Rider Dies After Crashing Into Pole On Upper East Side: Cops
The man lost control of his electronic bike in the Second Avenue bike lane, police said.
UPPER EAST SIDE — An e-bike rider lost control of his bike, crashed into a pole and suffered a fatal head injury early Monday morning on the Upper East Side, according to police.
The e-bike rider was pedaling south on Second Avenue near East 89th Street about 12:40 a.m. when he lost control, said police.
Medics rushed the biker to Weill Cornell Medical Center but doctors could not save his life, police said.
