The Upper East Side location will be the third Eataly Caffè in the city, following one in Hudson Yards and one in Rockefeller Center.

"In the span of a few months, we’ve seen how New Yorkers have come to enthusiastically embrace this new concept, with an incredible response to our first caffè locations at Rockefeller Center and Hudson Yards," Tommaso Brusò, CEO of Eataly North America, said.

"As Eataly closes out its 15th year in business here in New York City, we look forward to yet another milestone with our opening on the Upper East Side."

At the cafe, Upper East Siders can expect a range of tea and espresso-based drinks, as well as freshly made pastries, gelato, cakes sold by the slice, and heaps of chocolate. The savory selection proves just as tempting, featuring paninis and Roman-style pizza studded with burrata and basil.

On Dec. 10, the cafe will open at 3 p.m. In celebration of the grand opening, Eataly will be giving out a complimentary hot chocolate to first-time guests through Sunday, Dec. 14.
