EMT Sexually Abuses Woman In Ambulance Headed To UES Hospital: PD

The 24-year-old woman was being transported to Lenox Hill Hospital for intoxication, an NYPD spokesman said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — An FDNY EMT is facing charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman inside an ambulance, an NYPD spokesman said.

Michael Seebrat, 46, is accused of sexually assaulting a 24-year-old woman in July of 2017 while she was being transported to Lenox Hill Hospital, an NYPD spokesman said. The woman was headed to the hospital for intoxication, police said.

The EMT was arrested Friday afternoon after turning himself in at the NYPD's Ninth Precinct in the East Village. He was charged with sexual abuse, an NYPD spokesman said. Seebrat has not yet been arraigned, a spokeswoman for the Manhattan District Attorney's office said.
