Fire In Upper East Side High Rise Sends Firefighters Rushing To Scene
Breaking: The fire broke out Monday morning, the FDNY said.

The fire, in a sub basement at 353 East 83rd St. between 1st and 2nd Avenues, was reported just before 9 a.m. by the FDNY.

The fire was reported to be under control about 30 minutes later.
