Holiday Carols And Gift Donations Returns To UES For 32nd Year
The East Sixties Neighborhood Association has hosted carols and gift-giving for over 30 years.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — For over 30 years, one Upper East Side neighborhood organization has heralded the holiday season with traditional caroling and a gift drive for children.
On Monday, the tradition continues for the 32nd year — and will be the first time the event will be held in-person since the beginning of the pandemic three years ago.
The East Sixties Neighborhood Association is hosting their annual Old Fashioned Holiday Caroling event on Dec. 4.

This year, the carolers — called the Jolly Holiday Singers — can be found at the TD Bank at First Avenue and East 67th Street.
Decked out in authentic Victorian attire, the singing and revelry will kick off at 5:15 p.m.

Organisers suggest that attendees bring a gift for a needy youngster, wrapped in its original packaging, suitable for newborns to kids 11-years-old.
The gifts will be delivered by ESNA to the ambulatory pediatrics unit at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center just blocks away on East 70th Street.
