Lenox Hill Hosts First Ave Street Fair This Weekend
The Lenox Hill Neighborhood House is kicking off the summer with a street fair on First Avenue between East 72nd and 79th streets.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Food, family and fun are all on the menu for the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House First Avenue Festival this weekend.
This Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Upper East Siders can stroll along First Avenue between East 72nd and 79th streets and enjoy a variety of food and family friendly programing geared towards young and old neighbors alike.
"The First Avenue Festival is a joyous opportunity to connect with neighbors, learn more about various organizations and partners in the community and celebrate the beginning of the summer season," the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House said in a statement.

Dozens of organizations are joining in the festival this year, with vendors, resources, performances, arts and crafts, fitness classes led by instructors from the longtime neighborhood house and food from local restaurants will all be part of the festival.
The longtime street festival returns in full force after a few years of COVID-related scaled-back festivals, according to a January Community Board 8 meeting.

Most notably, there will be a big return of local restaurants and food to the festival, according to an organizer at the January meeting.
Folks can also learn more about the 129-year-old Lenox Hill Neighborhood House and the various services and programs offered, as representatives will be giving presentations on the neighborhood institution's offerings throughout the day.
