The event, Springtime at Aycock, will run from 1-4 p.m. at the Alice Aycock Pavilion — the red structure on East 60th Street, within Andrew Haswell Green Park.

Organized by Friends of the East River Esplanade, it will feature live music by the French Cookin’ Band, ice cream pops from La Newyorkina, and kids' activities by the Craft Studio — all free.

Festivities will continue in the same time and place on the following Saturday, June 11, with music by Gene Casey and the Lone Sharks.

A previous event, set for May 7, had to be canceled due to rain — but forecasts call for sunny skies and mid-70s temperatures this weekend.
