Man, 94, Attacked In UES Apple Store, Police Say

The suspect ran away from the store, heading northbound on Madison Avenue, police said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Police are looking for a suspect after a 94-year-old man was attacked inside the Apple Store on Madison Avenue, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, the suspect punched the victim in the face, causing him to the fall on the ground, while inside the Apple Store on Madison Avenue near East 74th Street on Aug. 5 at 5:46 p.m.

Though lightly injured, the victim refused medical treatment at the scene, police said.

Police are investigating the attack and have not made any arrests yet. Police are still searching for the suspect, who was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue pants and tan shoes.
