Man Attacked With Umbrella Inside UES Subway Station: Police
A 61-year-old man was hit with an umbrella-wielding stranger on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A man was hit by a stranger with an umbrella inside an Upper East Side subway station on Tuesday, police said.
A 61-year-old man was inside the 86th Street Q train station at around 4:25 p.m. when he got into an argument with a stranger, according to officials.
The argument escalated, and the stranger raised the umbrella he was holding and poked the man's hand with it, the NYPD told Patch.

Police said the stranger fled and victim refused medical attention at the scene.
No arrests have been made and no suspect description was released, police said, and the investigation remains ongoing.
