Man Found Dead In Upper East Side Marriott, Police Say

The NYPD is investigating the man's death.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — The NYPD are investigating the death of a man found in a room at the Courtyard Marriott hotel on the Upper East Side, police said.

Officers arrived at the Marriott — located on East 92nd Street between York and First avenues — around 2 p.m. after receiving a call about an unconscious person at the location, police said. When officers got to the scene, they found a 40-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive in a hotel room, police said.

EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the man dead at the scene, police said.

The city medical examiner will investigate the man's official cause of death, police said. The NYPD have not made any arrests in connection with the death and have not yet identified the man who dies, police said.
