Man Found On Tracks At UES Subway Station: Police

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A man was found on the tracks at an Upper East Side subway station early Thursday morning, police said.

At about 6:10 a.m., an unidentified man was found on the downtown 6 train tracks at the East 86th Street subway station, police said.

He was conscious and alert, authorities said, with a slight laceration to his face and was brought to a hospital in stable condition by first responders.

Downtown 6 trains are now running with delays, according to the MTA.

Police said they do not believe the man was a victim of a crime.

Less than a week ago, a man jumped in front of a downtown 4 train at the same UES subway station.

And just over a month earlier, a man killed himself by jumping in front of a train at the 86th Street station.
