Man Slashed On UES Subway: Police
A man got in a fight with and was slashed by a fellow subway rider, officials said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A man slashed a fellow subway rider on an Upper East Side train Thursday evening, according to police.
Two men got into an argument aboard a 6 train near the 77th Street and Lexington Avenue station, according to police.
The fight ended when an unidentified man punched the 55-year-old fellow rider several times in the head and used a sharp object to slash him across the face, officials said.

Police said the slasher then fled the station on foot.
First responders brought the victim to Lenox Hill Hospital — just above the station — in stable condition, police told Patch.

Officials said the slasher was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
