Man Stabbed On UES Subway Platform: Police
A man was stabbed last week as he stood on a 4 train platform at 59th Street - Lexington Avenue station, officials said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A man was stabbed in the torso on an Upper East Side subway platform last week, police said.
At about 12:20 a.m. on March 4, a 30-year-old man waiting for a downtown 4 train at the 59th Street - Lexington Avenue subway station was approached by a group of four people, officials said.
The man and the group became engaged in an argument until one person in the group pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the torso, according to police.

First responders brought the victim to a nearby hospital in stable condition while the group of four fled the station on foot to parts unknown, police said.
Officials released surveillance stills of people believed to be connected with the incident.
