Mom, Son Found Dead At UES Building In Possible Murder-Suicide: Police
A young man may have killed his mother in their Upper East Side apartment Tuesday, then lept to his death from their building, police said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A man plunged to his death from an Upper East Side building on Tuesday, while his mother was found dead inside their residence soon after — causing authorities to suspect a murder-suicide, police said.
Police arrived at the 18-story building on the corner of Third Avenue and East 79th Street just before 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
They found 26-year-old Douglas Solomon lying unresponsive in the building's courtyard, with trauma to the body and injuries suggesting he had fallen from an elevated position, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
