New French Bakery To Open In Carnegie Hill
The Upper East Side is going to have a new place to devour canelés.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A new French bakery will open soon in Carnegie Hill, enticing all fans of butter and sugar to line up for madeleines, canelés and other delights.
Pâtisserie Vanessa, at the corner of Lexington and East 89th Street, is run by Marseille native, Vanessa, who has been dishing up delectable French pâtisserie for cafes across the city since 2014.
New Yorkers had tasted Vanessa's treats, baked at her former commercial kitchen in East Harlem, at places like Caffè Aronne in the West Village, Black Star Bakery in the Upper East Side and Long Island City, Le Moulin À Café on York and East 77th Street and many others.

At the new storefront location, all treats will be baked fresh on site.
Pâtisserie Vanessa will further make Carnegie Hill a baked-goods destination, with existing neighborhood spots on Lexington Avenue like Patis Bakery and Corrado nearby.
