UES Anti-Gay Puncher Yet To Be Caught, New Photos Released: NYPD

Police are still looking for the man who broke a man's nose in Yorkville earlier this month in what is being investigated as a hate crime.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Police have yet to find the man they've tied to an anti-gay hate attack earlier this month in Yorkville, but have released new pictures they hope will help track him down.

The 21-year-old victim was attacked by a stranger spewing anti-gay slurs more than two weeks ago on June 12 at about 3 a.m. near First Avenue and East 81st Street, police said.

The stranger repeatedly punched the young man, who suffered a fractured nose and a black eye, police said.

The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the attack.
