New UES Storage Business Offers Valet Pickup
Residents living about five blocks away from the storefront storage business can have their items picked up at their homes.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A new storage business on the Upper East Side is giving neighborhood residents the ability to opt out of the "self" in self-storage.
STORE, which recently opened its first storefront location at 1290 Third Avenue, between East 74th and 75th streets, is offering its customers a valet pickup option for storing unused items, according to a business press release. The service is free for Upper East Siders living within approximately five blocks of the store and offered at a $25 fee for residents living as far as East 63rd Street to the south and East 84th Street to the north, according to the business' website.
While valet pickup may be a unique offering, STORE is much like any other self-storage business. Customers can rent out either storage bins or a dedicated storage area and pay a monthly rate to store their under-utilized stuff.
