Pedestrian Hit By Car On Upper East Side, FDNY Says
The person was hit by a car in the intersection of East 85th Street and Lexington Avenue.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A pedestrian was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon after being struck by a car on the Upper East Side, an FDNY spokeswoman said.
The pedestrian was hit in the intersection of East 85th Street and Lexington Avenue around 3:15 p.m., the FDNY spokeswoman said. The person was taken to New York Presbyterian hospital suffering non life-threatening injuries, the spokeswoman said. The FDNY could not confirm if the pedestrian was a man or a woman.
The NYPD could not confirm any details about the collision, a spokesman said.
