Person Hit By Train On Upper East Side, MTA Says
The person was struck at the Lexington Avenue and East 96th Street Station, causing disruptions to 4, 5 and 6 service.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A person was struck by a train Monday afternoon at an Upper East Side subway station, MTA officials said.
The person was hit on the southbound track of the Lexington Avenue and East 96th Street station about 12:20 p.m., transit officials said. Trains bypassed the station as EMS responded to the scene to aid the injured person, according to MTA officials.
An FDNY spokesman said medics removed the injured person from the tracks and rushed them to St. Luke's hospital. The spokesman could not confirm details about the person's identity or their condition.

Trains on the 4, 5 and 6 lines experienced service changes and delays during the emergency response.

- Delays expected on 4, 5 and 6 lines.
