Pizza Rat Makes An Appearance On The Upper East Side
It's been two-and-a-half years since Pizza Rat became a viral video star.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — New York City viral video star Pizza Rat made an appearance on the Upper East Side this weekend when the rodent was spotted dragging a massive slice down the tracks of the Lexington Avenue and East 59th Street subway station.
Pizza Rat was caught on video by Instagram user Micahel Scott Courant, who was #blessed to encounter one of New York's most famous subterranean residents.
"I JUST SAW PIZZA RAT! I repeat: I JUST SAW PIZZA RAT! Lexington Ave./59th Street on the downtown 6 track #Blessed," Courant wrote on his social media post.

Age hasn't stifled Pizza Rat's ambitions. More than two years after the rodent's initial viral fame, Pizza Rat is still chomping down slices bigger than its body.
The video cuts off as an the station's public address system ominously announces the arrival of a downtown 6 train. Let's hope that Pizza Rat made it out of the tunnel in time to enjoy its slice.
