2 Robbers Busted Breaking Into UES Thai Restaurant: NYPD

The robbers had bolt cutters, a taser, knife and fake gun when cops caught up with them in the Second Avenue restaurant, police said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A pair of robbers with bolt cutters, a taser, knife and fake gun were caught inside a Second Avenue Thai restaurant Friday evening, police said.

Cops from the 19th Precinct caught the duo inside THEP Thai Restaurant on Second Avenue near East 75th Street just before 9 p.m., police said.

Carlos Garcia, 49, and Vincin Warren, 34, were toting restaurant cash and merch, as well as a bag of break-in tools, police said.

Both were arrested and charged with burglary and burglary tool possession, and Garcia also faces three weapon possession charges, according to officials.

While the 19th Precinct said the duo had lengthy rap sheets, Police department officials did not offer any details of prior arrests or charges.
