Police Search For UES Bus Groper: NYPD

A stranger groped a 20-year-old woman on a Lexington Avenue bus earlier this month, officials said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A man groped a young woman riding a Lexington Avenue bus on the Upper East Side earlier in February, police said Wednesday.

On Feb. 9 at about 7 a.m., a 20-year-old woman was riding a M102 bus on Lexington Avenue, officials said.

As the bus approached East 72nd Street, a man walked up to her and grabbed her buttocks, according to police.

The stranger then fled the bus at East 72nd Street, officials said.

No injuries were reported.

In addition to releasing an image of the suspected groper, police said the man appeared to be around five foot 10 inches tall and wore a ski cap with "Harlem" spelled across it in white lettering, army fatigue pants, a black hooded sweatshirt and black sneakers.
