UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Another Upper East Side storefront is soon to become an empty space as a popular Middle Eastern restaurant abruptly closed down this week.

Lashevet Restaurant, which opened only in early 2022, is now closing its doors for good, according to a message shared by the eatery.

"Dear customers, friends, and neighbors, thank you for your loyalty, trust, and the great journey we shared," the message reads. "We #appreciate every single moment of this time. IT WAS AN HONOR AND PRIVILLIGE TO SERVE YOU AND SHARE OUR LIFE AND LOVE OF FOOD WITH YOU!"
