Search Continues For UES CVS Slasher: NYPD
A security guard at a Yorkville CVS was slashed in the face by a shoplifter on Monday. Police say the suspect is still at large.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Police officials said they are still looking for the man who slashed a CVS security guard in the face earlier this week.
At around 11:30 p.m. on Monday, a man entered a CVS store at East 86th Street and Second Avenue and stole just under $400 worth of toiletries, police said, placing them inside a brown backpack.
When confronted by a store security guard, the man pulled out a knife and slashed the 62-year-old worked on the left side of his face, police said.

The guard was brought to New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition, according to the NYPD.
On Thursday, officials released surveillance photos of a man they believe is connected with the incident.
