Hero's job: Volunteer
Reason for recognition: When COVID-19 struck, Liz experienced the illness firsthand and faced a reduction in her work hours. As she rebounded she strove to improve NYC by taking to the streets collecting garbage with her two children weekly and serving at nearby food pantries.
One thing to know: Liz is a giving, community-minded parent of New York. She tries to inspire those around her to care for and do more for others.
Thank you for all you do, Liz!
