UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — From the east side to the west side, a bike-riding thief has been snatching pricy headphones off the heads of unsuspecting pedestrians, according to police.

Three people have had headphones stolen, two on the Upper East Side and one on the Upper West Side, by a man riding a gray Citibike back in April, according to police.

In each of the three daytime robs, police said that the mystery man rode up to his unsuspecting victims and plucked the expensive headphones — valued between $500 and $595, police said — right off of their heads.
