Upper East Side Car Chase Ends In Cash Theft
A black Mercedes rammed into and pushed a Toyota onto a sidewalk before the apparent armed robbery.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A car chase on the Upper East Side ended with a robbery of up to $20,000, according to police and news reports.
According to NBC New York, the chase happened near East 92nd Street and Second Ave. around 5 p.m. Saturday. The driver of a Mercedes charged into a Toyota Rav-4 and pushed it onto the sidewalk before a passenger from the Mercedes steals the money from the Toyota, the news channel reported.
According to NBC, the Mercedes passenger was armed.

Police said no injuries were reported and the vehicles were recovered.
