The Upper East Side Coyote Has Been Captured, Police Say
This comes just one month after at least two coyotes were spotted in Central Park.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A coyote was captured by police on Tuesday morning on the Upper East Side, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the four-legged New Yorker was spotted at 9:31 a.m. on Tuesday, in front of 305 East 80th St., which is a parking garage between First Avenue and Second Avenue.
This comes just one month after at least two coyotes were spotted in Central Park.

Police captured the wild animal and gave the dog over to officials at the Department of Environmental Conservation, where the coyote will be given a health evaluation.
