"Saturday Night Live" star Leslie Jones took the mic and rapped about her love for the Upper East Side.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — The Upper East Side got an unlikely shout out from "Saturday Night Live" in the form of a rap tribute performed by one of the show's long-running stars.

Leslie Jones opens up "The U.E.S" by addressing some common critiques of the Manhattan neighborhood: "Y'all say it's boring, y'all say its homogeneous, but y'll don't know it like I do. This is the U.E.S b------!"

The ensuing rap alludes to common scenes on the Upper East Side such as "white men in khakis lined up at Fairway" and brags that the new Second Avenue Subway is the only train line "younger than World War II."

"Ain't no drama, the car's strictly mellow, just some working folks and a kid playing cello," Jones raps about the Q line.

The video includes a guest spot by host James McAvoy who appears as a German bakery owner who alludes to the neighborhood's "Germantown" past.

While most of the video is focused on the Upper East Side, the crew at "Saturday Night Live" did throw in some digs at the neighborhood's crosstown rival. While Jones is busy hitting up the Met Gala, taking in fine dining at Daniel and drinking at Café Carlyle, Kate McKinnon's Upper West Sider is left to stay home with her "warm cat."
