Upper East Side Restaurant Named One Of America's Most Romantic
Reservation service Opentable named Erminia Ristorante one of the 100 most romantic restaurants in the United States.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — There are tons of romantic restaurants in New York City, but according to reservation service OpenTable one Upper East Side Italian spot reigns supreme.
Erminia Ristorante on East 83rd Street between Second and Third avenues was named one of the "100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America for 2018," by OpenTable. All of the restaurants on the list excel in offering "scrumptious food, alluring ambiance, and bespoke service," according to OpenTable.
The list-makers at OpenTable poured over more than 12 million reviews of 26,000 restaurants in order to narrow their ranking down to 100. The only other New York City restaurant, DUMBO's River Cafe, made the list. Other honorees from New York include Ristorante Lombardo in Buffalo, Russell's Steaks, Chops, and More in Williamsville and The Tailor and the Cook in Utica.

Erminia placement on the list probably won't shock many Upper East Siders. The intimate Italian restaurant is located in a one-story building featuring rustic wood finishes complimented with lush ivy. The restaurant seats its patrons in only one room with about a dozen tables, offering for a cozy dining experience. The restaurant was founded in 1982, according to its website.

Erminia is offering a special four-course Valentines Day dinner at a rate of $125 per person this year. Menu items include the restaurant's "famous" meatballs, lobster risotto, gnocchi with truffle cream sauce and filet mignon.
