UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — For fans of food and dining out, this is of the best "weeks" of the year, as New York City Restaurant Week returns for the summer.

This time, two dozen Upper East Side eateries are taking part in the discounted prices — a major drop from last year's 37 eateries.

General reservations for Restaurant Week — actually a month-long extravaganza — went live on Thursday at the official NYC Restaurant Week site.

The four-week feast from July 24 to Aug. 20 will give New Yorkers a chance to find their new favorite meal and explore the city "one bite at a time," as the official website puts it, without breaking the bank.

The summer 2023 program will offer prix-fixe two-course lunch and three-course dinner deals for $30, $45 or $60.

If the table of your dreams is already somehow booked, there is also a winter Restaurant Week in January.

This year saw 13 Upper East Side spots drop out of the feeding frenzy, including neighborhood classics like Donohue's Steak House, 2nd Ave Deli, A La Turka and both Felice 64 and Felice 83.

Some, like 5 Napkin Burger, have closed in the past year.

Here are the 24 Upper East Side restaurants participating this year:
