Urgent Care For Pets Opens On Upper East Side
Bond Vet, founded in Cobble Hill earlier this year, recently opened a new location on 62nd Street and Third Avenue.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A veterinary clinic that specializes in urgent care for pets while charging less than emergency hospitals opened a new location on the Upper East Side, the business announced Wednesday.
Bond Vet's second New York City location debuted Wednesday on East 62nd street and Third Avenue, business owners said. The clinic was founded in Cobble Hill in June, and expanded quickly due to the success of its first location.
Veterinarians at Bond Vet specialize in urgent care treatment for pets, but the clinic also offers more traditional veterinary services such as preventative exams, wellness checks and neuter/spay operations. Rates at Bond Vet can be up to 50% cheaper than emergency hospitals, a business spokesperson said. First-time visitors at Bon Vet will receive discounts for their pet's initial exam.

Patients can make appointments through Bond Vet's website or by walking into the clinic, owners said. The clinic was designed by interior design firm Islyn Studio and featured a treat wall, drinking station, pet parent lounge and a welcoming design that sets Bond Vet apart from other clinics.
"Our goal is to make the veterinary experience as simple and comfortable as possible, so we’re excited to put down roots in the Upper East Side and help our friends and neighbors keep their pets safe and healthy," co-founder and CEO Mo Punjani said in a statement.
