Video Shows Camouflage-Clad Man Punching Woman On UES

The man is being sought for a series of attacks, including some in which he menaced people with a knife.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY – Stunning video shows a camouflage-clad man slug a woman in the face as she checks her cellphone on the Upper East Side.

The man, who police are hunting after several reports of violent attacks including threats with a knife, calmly walks off as the shocked woman moves away from him.

The video, recorded by a surveillance camera, was released by police as they search for the man.

He's wanted in connection with "multiple" threats including one on East 87th Street and Third Avenue in which he pulled a knife on a couple pushing a stroller. It wasn't revealed exactly where the punching occurred, but all incidents happened between Park and Third avenues and from East 82nd to 87th streets, police said.
