What To Know About NYC's Saint Patrick's Day Parade

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Rain or shine, the 264th annual New York City Saint Patrick’s Day Parade will take place along Fifth Avenue on Monday, kicking off at 11 a.m.
This year's parade starts at 43rd Street and Fifth Avenue, passes by Saint Patrick's Cathedral at 50th Street, and ends at 79th Street and Fifth Avenue, right near Central Park.
Event organizers from the St. Patrick's Day Foundation said that anywhere along the route is fair game to watch the parade.

The procession is expected to last around five hours, and wrap up around 4:30 p.m., organizers said.

- 43rd, 44th, 45th and 46th streets between Vanderbilt Avenue and Sixth Avenue
- 47th and 48th streets between Park Avenue and Sixth Avenue
- 49th and 50th streets between Madison Avenue and Rockefeller Plaza
- 51st, 54th, 57th and 59th streets between Madison Avenue and Sixth Avenue
- 62nd and 63rd streets between Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue
- 64th and 79th streets between Park Avenue and Fifth Avenue
- 65th, 70th, 71st, 72nd and 78th streets between Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue
- 84th Street between Park Avenue and Fifth Avenue
