Where To Go Sledding On The Upper East Side After The Snowfall
Before the snow melts, here's a list from the Parks Department showing the best places to go sledding on the Upper East Side.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — There's good news for Upper East Side families looking to get outside and enjoy the more than 5 inches of snow that were dumped on Manhattan this morning.
The Parks Department has a list of the best places to go sledding across the five boroughs — and the Manhattan list includes two parks on the Upper East Side.
The two locations are Carl Schurz Park and the east side of Central Park, both of which feature sloping lawns perfect for sledding down.

In Carl Schurz, the department recommends the lawn near 89th Street, north of Gracie Mansion and just off of East End Avenue.
In Central Park, the suggested spot is Pilgrim Hill, which is near 72nd Street and Fifth Avenue, south of Conservatory Water.
