UES Car Crash Kills 90-Year-Old Woman, Police Say
The woman was hit by two large cars on York Avenue.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A 90-year-old woman was killed after getting hit by two cars on the Upper East Side on Wednesday night, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the victim, named Frances Rickard, was crossing the street at the corner of York Avenue and East 72nd Street on Wednesday at 5:41 p.m. when a 68-year-old man driving a Toyota Rav4 made a U-turn, hitting her.
Then, she was struck by a 35-year-old woman in a Chevy Trailblazer immediately afterward, NYPD officials said.

Medics rushed Rickard to NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
Both drivers remained on the scene, and the investigation is underway, authorities said.
