Woman Shoved To The Ground By Stranger On UES Street: NYPD
The 75-year-old woman suffered from a twisted ankle, police said.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A 75-year-old woman was shoved onto the pavement on an Upper East Side street by a stranger late last month, according to police.
About 7:30 p.m., on April 21, the woman was walking on East 83rd street between Second and Third Avenue when a man approached her from behind, police said.
Suddenly, the man shoved her, causing her to lose her balance and fall to the ground, officials told Patch.

She suffered from an ankle injury because of her impact with the street and was taken to New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center, an NYPD spokesperson said.
Following the attack, the shover ran off in an unknown direction, police said.

He is described as having a dark complexion and a slim build. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, black pants, black sneakers and a black backpack, police said.
