Police issued the motorcycle driver, a 59-year-old man, a summons for failure to yield, according to a department spokesperson.
That section of East 62nd is notoriously congested, as it serves as part of an off-ramp feeder for uptown-bound traffic exiting the Queensborough Bridge.
